Original Sprout Product Review

Original Sprout Products Review

1. Island Bliss Shampoo
2.  Island Bliss Conditioner
3. Tahitian Hair Oil

I've had the privilege of working with Original Sprout to review some of their wonderful products.  I was able to try the Island Bliss Shampoo and Island Bliss Conditioner as well as their Tahitian Hair Oil.

Original Sprout was founded in 2002 by Inga Tritt.  She was inspired to create the Original Sprout line of products after the birth of her daughter.   All of the Original Sprout products are "Worry Free" which means that there aren't any Parabens, Nanoparticles, Formaldehyde, Petroleum Oils, Propylene Glycol, Dioxanes, Sulfates, Gluten, Soy or Dairy.  They are also all 100% Vegan and have products to help soothe from the sun, wind, cold, chlorine and pollution.

I loved the smell of this Shampoo!  It has a wonderful tropical smell to it that will make you feel as though you're on a though you're on a tropical getaway!  It has a nice consistency to it that isn't too thick so that it is easy to get good coverage.  My hair was left smelling yummy and was silky smooth.

This also had an amazing smell.  This also had a nice consistency to it and left my hair feeling so smooth.  I have long hair that tangles easily and this did a great job of making it soft, but not greasy looking.

I loved this hair oil.  I have tried others in the past that left my hair looking greasy and oily, but this one did not.  It gave my hair a great shine to it and kept the tangles at bay.  It was easy to use and worked quickly.  It also didn't leave my hands with a greasy feeling that other hair oils have in the past.

Overall I loved all of the Original Sprout products that I tried and I can't wait to try other products of theirs in the future.  I hope you will check out their products as well.  You can visit their website here.  You can also find them on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest

Skoy Cloths Review

I've been introduced to what I think is one of the greatest kitchen inventions in some time. I received a 4 pack of Skoy Cloths and i'm so happy that I've discovered these.  They are definitely going to make life easier for me!

I have in the past used regular sponges, but the smell that they develop after a short time is unbearable and hard to get rid of.  In the past I've tried other "cloths" but never liked them and they always fell short of their claims.  The Skoy Cloth says that it is equivalent to using 15 paper towels and while I was a bit skeptical, it is so true.  This light weight cloth works so well and holds up so well.  It doesn't fall apart, or rip, even when doing heavy scrubbing.

The Skoy Cloth is made in Europe and is a mix of natural cotton and wood-based cellulose pulp.  It is Chlorine free, unbleached and contains no GMO's, as well as the inks and colorings are all water-based.  The Skoy Cloth is a cloth that will replace your sponges, paper towels, dishcloths, etc and wont be a breeding ground for bacteria and smells!  They are also biodegradable, reusable and even compostable! They are easy to maintain - you can wash them in your dishwasher, washer or dryer, or put them in the microwave (don't forget to wet them first so they don't cause a fire!)

Recently, Skoy Cloths has started a fundraising program for schools. They will provide information sheets, product samples and order-forms. The fundraising committee will submit their order and Skoy will ship out within ten days. Each 6-pack of cloths will sell for $10; $4 will go to the fundraising.

You can find the Skoy cloth, the Skoy rail, and Skoy Scrub online, at Amazon, or in many brick and mortar retailers nationwide in the US. They are also available at all Container Store locations

Piczzle Puzzle

I just received my first Piczzle Puzzles in the mail a couple of days ago and wanted to share with you some information about this cool company.

Piczzle puzzles will take any image you have and turn the picture into a puzzle.  This is such a neat way to preserve your memories of that great vacation, or family event.  I chose a photo of my husband and I from a recent vacation to Orlando for our Anniversary.  The puzzle arrived in this box and had a good quality picture on the front showing what the picture puzzle is of.

The pieces of the puzzle aren't thin that are going to bend, or rip and have a nice thickness to them that I think will hold up well for many years.  They are also a bigger size so that it would be harder to lose some of them.  There is nothing worse than having a puzzle that is missing pieces so you can't ever complete it.  It was easy to put together and the pieces fit and stayed together well.

Overall I am very pleased with my picture puzzle.  It has good quality of the image and is made with sturdy, high quality materials.

For more information, please visit their website Piczzle Photo Puzzles.  They can also be found on  Piczzle Photo Puzzles on Facebook or Piczzle Photo Puzzles on YouTube.

I am also pleased to announce that Piczzle Photo Puzzles is going to give one of my readers a small carboard puzzle!  All you need to do is write a comment on this blog post about you favorite puzzle on their website.  A winner will be picked and notified on March 1, 2014.  Good luck!

Carnival Fantasy.

My husband and I just returned from our week long cruise on the Carnival Fantasy. We visited Nassau Bahamas, Half Moon Cay and Grand Turk. We had a wonderful time and the islands were beautiful.

It was so nice to get away from the cold weather that was in Charleston while we were gone. I'll be posting pictures from our adventure to follow.
